This listing is for a gorgeous vintage 9ct gold intaglio ring.
This amazing vintage ring features a highly unusual antique carved amber glass intaglio depicting an archer drawing his bow, with what appears to be an arrow head and the number 24 caved in tot top of the stone. The intaglio is set in a solid chunky 9ct yellow gold classic signet style setting and band, I believe the intaglio to be antique with the band being a must later addition. The intaglio would have most likely been used to seal letters, we can assume the archer is a family crest. A gorgeous very unusual and unisex antique piece.
The band is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold London 1978 and has the makers mark S&B.
UK size J 1/2 or a US size 5.25. The intaglio measures 14x10mm
This piece is in good antique condition(please see photos) with some age related ware to the surface of the stone.
Will be packaged safely and securely in a lovely new ring box (*PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE BOX PICTURED*) If you would like to purchase a vintage or antique box we always try to have some available to purchase in our shop.
